Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. She is the owner of control of the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association and currently is the president of the organization. Buss is a California native who grew in a well-off family. Jerry Buss is her father. He was an estate tycoon and later owner of Lakers, among other businesses. Her feelings of abandonment were heightened as her parents divorced in 1972. In the year 19 she became the General Manager of Los Angeles Strings, a professional tennis team. She founded later in the Los Angeles Blades, a professional team of roller hockey. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before being elected Vice President for the Lakers. Buss, her five siblings and brothers as well as their father, who owned the Lakers and controlled them until his death in 2013, inherited this ownership by way of an estate.
