Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz professionally known as Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named their daughter the city she grew up in after her birthplace. Their father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father comes from an ethnically Jewish family Ryder feels she's Jewish. The actress is the sister to Uria as well as half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder made the move with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They had no electricity. Ryder began to be a passionate reading book because there was no television. In 1983, when she was twelve, Ryder took up a place at the American Conservatory Theatre to take classes in acting. The actress landed her first part on the big screen in the year 1986 when she was 15 years older. Ryder suffered bullying in high school. Her professional acting, she believed she would be able to assist her. It wasn't to be. Her dream was pursued. Her breakthrough occurred in the year 1988, when Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was a star in several films. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her part in The Age of Innocence (1993).
