Aaliyah Dana Haughton came into fame in 1994, after she dropped her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But an Number. At the time, she was just 15 years old. when the album was released and it became Gold. The album was an album that was heavily in the style of R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. The year 1996 saw her release her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. It contained the number one hit track If Your Girl only had known. Following the release of this work Aaliyah received international recognition as an R&B artist. She starred with the legendary martial artist Jet Li in 2000's romance-action film Romeo Must Die. Joel Silver, the film producer, saw her at the awards ceremony and kindly offered the role. In 2002, she appeared as in the Anne Rice-based movie about horror Queen of the Damned. The Matrix Sequels saw her as Zee and appeared in The Matrix Reloaded (2003) and The Matrix Revolutions that same year. The actress was nominated for four times for the Grammy Awards, including 2001, 1999 and 2002. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. Aarti Mann is of Indian heritage and was born Connecticut. Mann is her stage name. It is an acronym for Mankad which is her name as a married surname. Aarti has both Aarti Majumdar and Aarti Munn as professional names. Though she started her career with minor TV and film roles her acting career gained growth in the latter half of 2000s. Other notable works she has done comprise Leverage 2012, Suits 2013, and Grey's Anatomy 2017. In addition, she was a part of several commercials including Volvo and many other major car companies. She continues her acting career with her home in Los Angeles, where she lives with her daughter and husband.
